Procedural and Process Documentation

 

We have developed a distinctive approach to the production of procedural documentation, drawing upon structured interview techniques that reduce to a minimum your staff's time committment.
Client interviews are recorded to ensure consistency and continuity throughout the project.
All documents are clearly presented with a consistent appearance and are logically structured to preserve the natural order of your activities.
Whether the intended audience is executive management, regulatory bodies, senior and line managers, technical staff or "keystroke level" users, we work closely with you to define the level of detail required in order to produce documents that exactly meet your expectations.
All of our documentation is designed to easily import into the document handling application of your choosing. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management

 

PDC is a Corporate Partner of the Business Continuity Institute and supports its efforts to promote awareness of business continuity management and associated best practice.
Our disaster recovery and business continuity manuals are designed to assist security and departmental staff in the event of physical disaster or other unforeseen interruption to business.
Produced in text and flow diagram format, DR/BCM manuals contain key contact information, specific procedures for business and technical support staff, often down to subtask level, helping to ensure a resumption of business in the shortest possible time.
On completion of the documentation effort, the PDC consultant works alone or assists in the coordination of a full test run, which involves:

  • Producing test script documents per business area, addressing all
    tasks to be tested by nominated business representatives
  • Coordinating attendance at the recovery or test site
  • Coordinating technical teams at the recovery or test site and
    post-event support
  • Reporting on the success or failure of all aspects of the test
  • Making recommendations to improve the business continuity plan
  • Providing on-going support to technical teams
